I have only a 2.1 surround sound in my bedroom and I wanted to know what gauge of wiring should I go with?

I have a small 2.1 surround sound (cheaper brand) in my bedroom running from my 32 inch plasma and I wanted to know what gauge of wiring should I go with?
It’s more about how much power is being output to the speakers and what the speakers can handle. But since you mentions "cheaper brand", I don’t suspect you’re trying to push 200 watts to each of your speakers. I’d probably go with 14 or 16 gague wire. If you check out the site below, you can get a 50 foot spool for less than $10 USD of either gague. Good luck!
