Is $75.00 a week to get a one bedroom apartment cleaned 2 times that week expensive?

Or a 2 bedroom 2 bath apt $115.00 a week to get it cleaned twice? this is an apt where rent is $1600.00-5000.00

Think in terms of hours….if they clean each time for at least about hour, then I would say no, its not expensive.

wow that rent is expensive. My sister in law cleans houses for a living and charges 20 bucks a hour. I don’t think that it is. I think you got a deal.

We have two ladies come in once a week to clean our house. (3 bedroom, 2 bath.) They do the whole house one week (3 hrs), then just the kitchen, living room and family room the next (1 hr). We pay usually $25/hr for the service, so it’s usually $200/month.
I would point out that the company is a woman owned cooperative, so the ladies who come out are all part owners of the company, and they specialize in environmentally friendly cleaning supplies.

I moved from a small rural area a few years ago to a pretty large, upscale city and thought I was practically stealing from people to charge $15.00 an hour to clean for them. I started for my next door neighbor, who told a friend, who told a friend etc. and within two weeks I had cleaning jobs every weekend to do. From what I understand the going rate is $20.-25. but I recently was told that the local professional cleaning service, mery maids charges $75. an hour and sends two people out to do the job.
Hey, I’m thrilled with the $15.00 an hour. I have a pre-arranged agreement that I want a minimum of 6 -8 hours but that was my choice. Half of my clients just need me every other week, the rest once a week. They all have high end, large homes.
Unless you’re a total slob or a clean freak, I don’t know why you would need someone to clean twice a week with only a one bedroom apartment, personally.
The price of cleaning shouldn’t have anything to do with the income you derive from the apartments. Instead, it should be based on how long it takes them.

Excuse me……. how is a one bedroom ranging 1600 to 5000……. thats a big jump.
at 75 $ a week thats 3900 a year for a one bedroom. Why cant you clean your own..its one fricking bedroom…… it takes what an hour to do the whole thing? Im sorry but I clean my whole house once a week in an hour… its 4 bedrooms , den, dining, living, kit, 2 bath. Are they doing the yard too or just really slow?

Further more if you can pay that much why not just buy… are you just really challenged on what to do with your money? Buy and move up when you can afford bigger……..at least you will have something for your money.

It depends how many hours a day and how good they are at it,
but if you think you could do a better job, get someone else to do it or do it yourself.
