What city do you live in and how much, on average, is the rent on a 2 bedroom apartment, in a decent/ok neighbourhood. Does that include heat and electricity?

I pay $475 for a two bedroom duplex here in Missouri. It is a small town with little opportunity so its going to be cheap. Hope this helps.

I live in the northern bay area in California. The beachside town I live in is one of the nicest in the area and a 2 bdrm home could run you about $500K. Generally a 2 bdrm apartment will start at about $1200/mo minimum. A waterfront apartment will fetch upwards of $1700/mo. I’m moving into a 1 bdrm with my bf for $1350/mo. Not waterfront, but newly remodeled with hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, tile bathroom, and reserved parking. Some of our peers are saying we’re paying too much…but it’s a really nice place. It would probably be nearly twice as much for something similar in San Francisco.
