what type of foundation do I have at my client’s duplexes?

duplexes are more expensiver i think? i’m 20 and i’m going to work alot for the money for mortgage, and let my tenants pay it off, but whats better, should i start as a house or duplex? right nnow i just have book knowledge and no apartments or houses, just beginner

the key is making sure your rent covers the mortgage so if you are buying a house or duplex in a poorer neighborhood you probably can’t charge as much rent, and if it was richer neighborhood you can charge more but your mortgage will be higher as well. Word of advice in my situation the money is better with duplexes but the work is harder a lot more time and effort

You would have to call around and ask the caretakers/ owners of the building what kind of dog breeds they allow. It will be different with each place.

try www.rent.com. You can find where the places are that you might like on this website, but don’t sign a contract before you have seen the place in person. (Duplexes are nothing more than apartments…)

The Housing Authority in Virginia Beach will have the most comprehensive list of landlord’s who offer low income apartments, duplexes and single family homes. If you are not already approved for a Section 8 voucher, you should apply for one through the same agency. There may be a waiting list, but I’d at least apply and get myself on the list. The agency is called the Virginia Beach Housing Authority. You may find other resources as well through local homeless shelters, Salvation Army, local food banks, churches, and civic groups. These entities can help with, food, utilities, transportation, child care, medical and mental health services, should you need any of these other types of assistance. is it legal for them to touch, or go through any of my personal belongings. Are they aloud to open draweres or closets or anything? I live in Michigan and am unfamiliar with any of the laws regarding this matter. I am not going to be home during the time of the inspection, and just concerned that they may take advantage of the fact that I’m not there. can anyone help me out?

If you live is a government subsidized housing program, like Section 8, yes it is totally legal for the agency to come into your premises and look for violations of your contract, such as unauthorized people living with you or looking for illegal substances that you might have in your possession. They do not need a search warrant because you gave your permission when you signed the rental contract.

Many cities require yearly or every two year inspections on all properties that are rented within their jurisdiction. They are checking for code violations by mostly the landlords. In this case, inspectors have no right going through your personal belongings. They are inspecting the condition of the property, generally not the tenants.

Is there any information in a boock or web sight to help with process of convertiong properties or does anybody have any experience in this field. Any coments would be helpfull.

You will have to draw up some hefty condominium documents (two or four owners can’t be permitted to vote on much too many tie votes) to handle all of the day to day operations of the common elements owned by the association.

You would find better investments with larger complexes that will be easier to convert.
