Well a regular un-furnished apartment doesn’t have any furniture, but it will normally have a stove, a fridge, and maybe a dishwasher in the kitchen.

When an apartment is furnished, then it’s got all the furniture an average person would need – usually furniture for the dining area, living room, and bedroom at least.

Sometimes the furniture is new and matching, sometimes it’s in less great shape.

A part-furnished apartment is somewhere in between, there are no specific rules, so you would have to ask the landlord.
