I am moving into a furnished apartment next year. What should I buy/get/acquire before I move in?
usually a furnished apartment means they have furniture, and not much else. You want to see if they furnish a mattress and springs, if so, make sure you spray them well with disinfectant before putting on your own mattress cover and bedding.Don’t forget a clock radio with an alarm. Also a TV, a stereo set for some music. You will need everything that goes in a bathroom, shower curtain, rugs, towels,etc. Also in the kitchen, dishes, bowls. glasses, silverware, pots, pans, measuring cups and spoons, dish towels and pot holders. Maybe a blender, a mixer, a toaster. You most likely will need some lamps for different rooms, and any accessories you may have that you want to set out, things for the walls, personal things like framed pictures of friends and family. Laundry basket, trash cans, ironing board and iron. Start gathering things a little at a time now so it all won’t hit you at once, Good luck. Hope this helps.
