How do I start a property rental business?
November 11th, 2009 | by admin |We have a property for rent and my brother has a couple and wants to put under our care. We are thinking about starting a property rental business. How do we get started? What are the important things we need to know.
Thanks for any advice.
In some states, (Arizona for example) you must be a licensed real estate agent to become a property manager. The only exceptions are managing your own properties and one other client. If you are dealing with long term leases (a year or more), it is considered to be a real estate transaction. Check with your local real estate board.
