My wife and I want to start a property management company in the next couple years. I’ll have my contractors license and do any maintanence and construction while she leases and works the office. Is this a good time for an opportunity like this? I’m in Oregon…
If the mortgage companies tighten up on lending, it is likely that there will be a lot of people renting……
of course buyers could just get smart and buy smaller houses…..
Its a great idea. especially right now with people not being able to get loans and losing their houses because of the economy right now. More people will be renting instead of buying for along time to come. Mainly because people aren’t able to get loans as easy.

The economy will recover so now is a great time to start just about any business. People have to live somewhere and those properties will have to be managed.
