I’m hoping to do research in London for around a month for an honors thesis. I don’t mind having a long commute of an hour or more on train or bus to get into the city, I was just looking for somewhere I could stay and spend 300 pounds or less on housing (if that’s even possible). Can anyone recommend an area near London that fits the bill? Also, any advice on how to look for housing in that area, online?

Alot of people live in Luton and commute to London everyday. Its about 40-45mins on train from Luton to london and is much cheaper than living in London itself.
